It's not the camera, Loops, it's you living in Godzown and not getting enough vitamin D for your health (and to protect other people's eyes!!!).

Just jealous of not living in Qld . . . I'm getting quite tired of my daughter sending me pics of beaches, food, etc etc . . . and generally beaut weather

Nice Q AO. If I may make a suggestion. From the picture the grill plates look to be die cast which unfortunately do not hold up well. You can make them last longer by keeping them very clean after each Q or look into a local shop to make you up some good SST grill plates that will last forever.

Looking forward to some Q Lunch and Dinner pics...

    Happy Holidays

I think they are strong. One reason I chose this one. Very heavy cast iron. One griddle and one grill, each at over 3 kilos of iron. Cant see them going bad.

My old BBQ which is near identical but 4 burner.

The cast iron plates warped and never really held the heat.

I replaced them with some 10mm Armour plate, they stayed flat and held the heat real well !!

    barbecue (n.)
1690s, "framework for grilling meat, fish, etc.," from American Spanish barbacoa, from Arawakan (Haiti) barbakoa "framework of sticks set upon posts," the raised wooden structure the West Indians used to either sleep on or cure meat. Sense of "outdoor feast of roasted meat or fish as a social entertainment" is from 1733; modern popular noun sense of "grill for cooking over an open fire" is from 1931.

Well got the barbecue built. We have slowly been getting our new upper deck together. Coming along pretty nice now.

The dinner table you can see off to the right. Nice big one we made from a door and a nice piece of black glass. Have chairs to match the sofa set.

Absolutely nothing, done it many a time. Just don't see much on here. Love to see some Bfast q's. Cooked up many a Carne Asada for Bfast burritos.

Excellent to hear. Usually they are heavy but burn out pretty quick. I know you do your research. BTW, deck/veranda area looks superb. Perfect relaxing place. Nice job

Miss Mindanao had slipped off the radar for many a long month I am sad to report Katie

But she holds a special place in my heart and your seasonal prompting put wind in my sails and a festive overture this day drew a friendly hurrah

So I am happy to report that she is well and overflowing with the Christmas spirit on this hallowed eve

I was having a mad moment with a hangover on the Eve of the Eve and my kids were just giving it DAD DAD DAD DAD DAD DAD DAD DAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDD and I thought, there needs to be some understanding here. Then I had an epiphany. Headphones. Proper noise cancelling headphones. A visual attachment to the father figure. As in, ah dad'smgot those things over his ears, he can't hear me so I wont bother.

Not one to mess around with such an important life hack I immediately began googling the best heedphonios that my money could be parted for.

Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones WH-1000XM4

Best in class, award winning badboys.

I'm sitting here listening to Imagine Dragons - Believer in 24D. 24 Dimensional tunage. I cannot explain this, but this is cool.

Kids lips are moving and I really don't give a fuck.

^ I've seen the photos mate, you don't really need the headphones.

Dirk, I also treated meself to the exact same headphones very recently. I bought them off Amazon while I was last offshore and picked them up from my mum's house before wearing them for the first time flying back to Thailand.

I'm not really one for extensive research but I work with lots of geeky types and let them do all the hard work. These were recommended to me and so far they've been great. Tbh they have a lot of features I'll never use but so long as I can plug them in for my long haul flights I'm happy.

Damn straight, what a great purchase this was. And incidentally, I also bought 5 bags of Bombay Mix!

I've got xm3's as well. They work really well.

The only thing I don't like is that I can't get them to connect to my Sony "smart" TV.
GF also can't get them to work on her windoze laptop.

They connect seamlessly to my iMac, phone and tablet though.

Got a couple of Japanese teapots, a nice small dish and four matching bowls. Love the 2nd hand Japanese shops in Thailand. Enjoying some Aoki Cha roasted rice tea now.

Mine went straight to my iPhone, but would not show up on my macbook. So I googled it and it turns out I need to hold the power button for 7 seconds to start the pairing mode. Job done.

It's the one I should've got to start but went for a cheapy.

That's now in the garage broken after only a few uses. Lesson learned.
