I went down to the Yongsan computer market by the river in Seoul when I was there and it seemed to have the cheapest prices for tech that I had seen anywhere.

^prices were about 30% lower than aussie e-bay prices when I was there. The aussie dollar was worth about 25% more back then mind.

Not only has Sony stopped making laptops, but there's also a rumour going around that they won't be making ony more tablets, and stopped production of the Z4 tablet last March... Other places suggest that a new tablet is due anytime now, but should I wait or pick up one of the last remaining Xperia Z4s?

BTW, I did have a couple of arguments with Koreans today who tried to tell me that Samsung tablets and all things Koreans are great; I informed them that Korean/Chinese same same and overpriced shite...

Korea is crap for shopping. The guitar place was shite. The electronics place was shite. Both claim to be the biggest of their type in the world. Now, both times, I had $500-1000 burning a hole in my pocket, but ended up going home with nothing - very rare for me. Bangkok is very much better (and cheaper) than Seoul for shopping. I was so pissed off, I cancelled my night out in Itewon and just got the train home...



Even bloody Sony Thailand don't have the Z4 on their website. I've seen loads on ebay coming from Taiwan and HongKong, but I'm pretty worried these are fakes, so don't wanna risk it. Nor do I want the 20% import tax. None on Lazada either. None on my very favourite website: Powerbuy. WTF???

I'm all impulse bought out - got a Samsung S7, Kindle, Asus Zenbook, and 1T EHD in the last month .

Guess I could upgrade my apartment, but thinking of moving soon.

Great big letters which jump out at you!! I have been able to tame them down to little letters since, but the first time....

I don't read instructions very well. And i don't like touch screens. I'm fucked.

A phone has all those other distractions.

A Kindle is a dedicated book reader - much like a book, eh.

There are days where I turn my phone off. They're nasty little things (when they start controlling your life).

Having problems getting a Sony xperia Z4 tablet, I popped into the iApple shop yesterday and looked at the iPad pro and the iPad 2: crap. The keyboard is crap, the other optional keyboards are crap, the prices are extremely high for what they are. Very underwhelmed...

The keyboard dock on that old Sony tab you're after is even worse
