I saw a cheap oximeter on Lazada, Baht 79, and thought "Yes, need one of those." Then I thought B79 was a bit cheap for a such a gadget so when I saw the one pictured for B259 I bought that too. The more expensive one, pictured, arrived first. The cheap one is still swimming from China.

At total B418 for the pair including delivery but not batteries I thought that I could compare the two because an innaccurate reading is not very helpful. In fact it doesn't need to be precise, so long as it is consistent. Now I have a baseline reading of O2 at 97% if the time comes when Covid arrives I am looking for the delta. Say I am feeling unwell and the reading drops 5 points then I can drag myself off to hospital before I reach critical. This is a theory I hope not to test.
I bought one of these oximeters from Aliexpress (Lazada don't deliver to Laos).

I thought it was lost in the post, because the Lao postal service was suspended last April, (and is still suspended). But amazingly, it arrived at my local post office last week, almost 10 months after I ordered it!

Can't show you it yet, but I've just bought a coffee maker for me campervan (from China, obviously), that plugs into the cigarette lighter plug. When I'm vanning the main thing I miss is a decent morning caffeine fix. Looking forward to it. Assuming it works right.

Genuinely don't even know what is in it yet haven't opened it (although I highly suspect it's a tool trolley).

Turns out getting hammered and going on Lazada can have some expected results:

I have got paint and glue for touch ups and repairs but I mostly buy already built stuff from modellers who are running out of space and selling off their prides and joys.

I don't think I would have the patience that these modellers have. The detail on these 2 box heads that are werfing the nebelwerfer is insane.

The original 'impulse buy' finally arrived.

Cheaper build and a couple of (pointless) features fewer than its slightly more expensive brother. They tell the same story. For about the same price as a large bottle of beer, what's not to like?

Just to note, 95 is not great - it is the lowest "OK" reading.

Evidence suggests that a crash in blood oxygenation can precede other symptoms in covid infection - so worth keeping a regular eye on it.

You are quite right. Over a few checks I am reading 95 to 97, mostly 95. This might have something to do with very low blood iron, it has been with me since childhood and never seems to be a problem although it pops up in routine medicals and I take a small daily iron supplement. It is the only thing I take, I am otherwise in good health - 'for your age' as doctors like to add these days. I am lucky not to have any underlying conditions that raise the Covid risk factors, except for age.
Just checked again out of curiosity, it reads 96 now.
These machines are not precise. As long as I know my usual reading I'll be able to spot any changes. It is an unfortunate feature of Covid that many people get into fairly severe states of hypoxia without realising it, that is what I hope to avoid.
In fact, I hope to avoid the Covid business altogether.

95 is nothing to worry about, I was down to 92 during a flu.
Go to your doctor for a checkup if you go below 90, those who suffers from covid are usually lower than so, ie 70-80 ish

Got plenty of projects I need to complete, will be very handy... Also for work as well to prototype jigging components before sending them out to be machined.

Price was decent @ 11k, certainly A lot cheaper than my previous printer.

I would like to buy a 3D printer but am not sure whether the printer comes with a 3D design program such as solid works.

Fondles did your printer come with a suitable design program?
