I've never once mentioned homeopathic medicine.

Tried it a very long time ago and didn't see any results.
    Distilled water is homeopathy. Nutter
Urrrgghhh no mate, it's not. Homeopathy people think that putting a little bit of something in distilled alcohol or water - the whatever it is that they put in is the homeopathy, and distilled water is just distilled water... unless you think that car batteries are treated with homeopathy, rather than a top up of distilled water

Read earls crap. Distilled water as medicine, with highly diluted trace elements is homeopathic nonsense.
Water isn't medicine. Some studies show that better quality water does help mineral absorption from food though and low quality water makes the body work harder to remove impurities. It's just common sense not wacky stuff.

I prefer to use tap water with a filter cause its the cheapest way to get decent water.

Oh dear lord - we are going to have a massive falling out again. Is there some scientific reason why you should EVER put water in gin, when it already has far too much water in there in the first place?

If you are not going to mix it with Vermouth to Gin and It levels rather than the namby pamby martini levels, then tonic of course is the mixer. Lemon not lime. But water? Seriously?

Don't tell me - something to do with quamtum physics and climate change means that it should be watered down or something?

No need to fall out. He didn't say water your gin, he said gin your water. There's nowhere near enough gin in ordinary water so every little helps.

Id put gin with soda or mineral water on the rocks. Single malt whiskey gets the straight treatment not gin.

Ahh yes - a very fair comment.

    I withdraw my previous post.

Could you perhaps mean "a serious deficit of comprehension ability", or something like that which actually makes sense?
