Which one are you getting? I have the Hero 4 Session, which is great for cycling etc. I also have a mount next to my rear view mirror in my car, which I haven't used that often, though good results when I have.

Yes, have it mounted on my bars. Not had any rain since I got it, but don't think it will be a problem when it does.

VR is the way to go.

You can't see it here, but if you watch this on a Gear VR you are in the middle of Syria wherever you look.

And the cameras will be out in June for a few hundred dollars.
