You are walking down a soi and you come across a street vendor selling hot dogs.

You fancy a hot dog.

Why do you also have to stop the Thai made ice cream vendor?

because the hot dog guy only sells sausages on a stick, no buns.

The ice cream guy sells icecream sandwiches (in a hot dog bun) - so you buy the bun (without ice cream) from him.

My bad, did not realise the 7-11 was a street vendor.

BTW a dog without the bun aint a hot dog, but then I aint seen 7-11 sell anything that remotely tastes like a hotdog anyways... those bacon wrapped thingos taste might fine though.
