The Terrible Chinese Tourist Picture Thread

    A few to kick off..

Chinese teenager scrawled his name on the 3,500-years-ago old Luxor Temple in Egypt.

Chinese tourist caught doing poo right outside British shop | Weird News | Funny, Strange & Bizarre UK News Stories | Daily Star

A grandmother let the toddler drop the kids off less than a metre from the front entrance – as shoppers STROLLED BY.
A disgusted Brit taxi driver caught the kid in the act at Bicester Village – an outlet shopping centre for cut price designer brands in Oxfordshire.
So many Chinese bargain hunters flock to the mall that Mandarin signs have been installed at Marylebone Station – which runs trains there from London

The granny – who thoughtfully put down a sheet of paper to catch the deposit – appeared relaxed about the public display.
Shoppers exiting the luxury store seemed blissfully unaware a tot was making another kind of exit right next to them.
But the international incident has sparked outrage after it was revealed a FREE public toilet is just FIVE METRES AWAY.
Matt Kelly – who took the snap – tweeted: "I'm guessing she's not a Burberry fan."

Some Chinese apologised on behalf of their little fellow countryman.

But others from former British colony Hong Kong pointed the finger at "mainlanders".

They complained tourists from mainland China do the same on Hong Kong's streets – and local Chinese find it just as disgusting.

I saw kids crapping on the footpath of the main street of Kunming, a big city in the south-west of China. No paper, just do it and walk away.
If I owned a restaurant or hotel in Thailand I would not even let them in the door.

I saw a great argument at Loon Fung supermarket, Chinatown London, neither of them able to fathom what the other is saying, until the guy on the till tells him ''fuck you'' and stares him out.

The rude tourist paid and left, quickly...no time for any selfies

I was in Delhi about 13 years ago and the locals there were no different. May be it us being too stuck up?

The HK people are far removed from the Mainland Chinese filth.

The HK lot are embarrassed by the main landers.

    Way it is.

We spent 10 days in the far N.E. of China last August, we were based in Dalian, and I have never come across a politer, more helpful and friendly bunch of people.

Nobody spoke English and we were often struggling to obtain information, directions and order food, but we were helped constantly, and given rides and food for free.

The behaviour however of officials at the airports and some of the civil servants at the municipal government authorities in Dalian that we had to deal with during our trip was reminiscent of Moscow in the eighties with officious and bad tempered jobsworths doing everything possible to make life difficult for the people they were meant to be helping.

Backwards self entitled peasants with a bit of dosh to spare. The ones that get caught playing up.

A few considerate, well mannered ones.

All comes down to breeding. I have a couple of gorgeous co-workers, real 8-9/10s, until they start guzzling down their noodles or apples or soup. Jaysus H!!

I just remember the Korean massage places, which were rather nice. Found the city modern and the people nice.

Certainly don't remember standing in a turd when I entered the hotel elevator.

I have lived in China for five years and as much as I hate to generalize, it is a shit-hole. Most Chinese people are dirty and untidy. I’ve been on the cheap trains and by the end of the journey the bathroom floor is a swamp of shit, piss, tissue and rubbish. Various liquids were flowing from under the bathroom door while passengers continued to smoke relentlessly in the corridor. I asked train staff to open a window and they said they were not allowed to, even though the ventilation system was out of order. People hawk and spit on the floor all the time, including inside the trains, restaurant floors and bins. They don’t give a crap about communal areas, hence the environmental problems they are experiencing. Generalized selfishness is a probable cause. They take their shoes off when they get home not because they are clean but because the streets are dirty as hell. The north of China is worse, people constantly spit on the floor. In winter the spit freezes over and eventually the whole pavement is covered. Great way to spread diseases! They also spit bones and debris on the table instead of on the side of their plate or into a bowl.

It’s a country with no conception of maintenance: buildings and public facilities are built to look good on day one and left to rot and decay. Nothing is built to last in China. Cheap buildings are erected and demolished on a 20-year cycle. It’s a makeshift botched-up country. Becoming a super also takes planning, something the Chinese are clearly not good at.

After being in this country for a long time I am immune to pretty much anything.

The government puts a lot of money and effort into blocking internet access, shouldn’t all those resources go into educating people?

I traveled most of China by train, about a decade ago. Can't remember ever seeing anything like that. Though I was mainly sitting in the VIP section swilling icy Tsingtaos. Best way to travel, really.
