    Best British Comedy of Old

    For me, it's Fawlty Towers or Red Dwarf. Both hard to beat and nothing even comes close to them today.

    Porridge was great.

    Fawlty Towers is obvious.

    The Young Ones at the time.

    Allo Allo is a lot cleverer and more subtle than it appears on the surface.

    H..Hancock's Half Hour was one of my favourites. The Radio Ham and the Blood Donor are ones I imagine everyone old enough still remembers. However, I also liked the earlier ones with Sid James:
