It seems Binance sets aside funds in what has been dubbed a #SAFU account, so the loss will be covered at no expense to users. A security review is estimated to take about a week to prevent similar attacks. No deposits or withdrawals during the review period, while other exchanges have also locked down to varying degrees for security and procedural reviews, while some including coinbase have offered donations to Binance.

Security audits and reviews should be ongoing processes, not just after the loot has bolted.

Bitcoin will hit new roof soon again, since many old style finance will pop in as it goes up. Damn old speculators, it is not about speculation but changing the world somehow...

take the profit, regulators are planning a big move with those coins exchanges, and will shut them down, hence insiders are liquidating their positions (which increase coins value in the strange upside down world of bitcoins)

i was looking at marketwatch, but their data might be off or delayed. for example, they've got BTC up 8% and XRP down 7%

Lots of scope for arbitrage in both bear and bull markets, now firmly invested there aside from big brothers BTC and ETH.

99% of everything outside the top 20 will be left behind to die.

    Nice bump today.

Anyone know what's happening to kick this one off?
    Manipulation?
    Speculation?

Actual real-world usage of a crypto?

yep, looks like a last call to milk suckers into the game for a final showdown

no shortage of suckers, that ecoin industry is far worse than anything financials in the real world

Wolf of Wall Street are small players, criminal activities is the name of the game for bitcoins, no wonder it attracts millions of Chinese, Indians, Boiler Room boys, Australians, Plumbers and whoremongers

each exchange has its own pricing mechanism, so who the fuck knows how things are really priced, it's at the discretion of the exchange, a bit like a dark pool for traders
