It's free, registered via a junk account so they can bombard it with spam or even hijack it, and earned 20k tokens that one day might have my grandkids look to the sky with brimming eyes after selling off to buy a coke.

I haven't checked but think I recall it not being an ECR20 token, something to do with a former paypal crew that decided paypal isn't doing as good a job as it could so let's put together something faster, more secure and free. Not impressed with a 2tr circulation, but wtf I got 20k free so if the whole lot ends up being worth 10c someone somewhere will be 10c richer sometime.

Invite link is: https://initiativeq.com/invite/SEi9IA83X, you get around 5k for signing up.

A number of things I do not like about the way ARB is operated.

I shall be pulling out over the next days with an incidental profit, will recommend to those I know are invested to do the same, and goes without saying retract my earlier recommendation here.

It's not money. And when you intend to build up a base by giving away 80% of 2tr, 20k doesn't amount to much.

From what I hear it's becoming easier to churn out cryptos, and in time kids at school will be creating their own and swapping as they did cigarette cards in the old days. Numbers and utility are becoming irrelevant, so in practical terms 2 trillion might just as well be 2 octillion.

Now around 80% in XRP since the weekend at 15 bt, moving well.

Still with a bunch of freebies and scraps, some of which I can see but can't access. Will get around to it sometime.

funfair is teh latest ERC20 token to come under scrutiny

all of these are 'smart' contracts via solidarity , and too many of them have clauses that allow the creator of the contract - the issuer of the token - to fcuk with everything

examine anything that is a solidarity contract and if like 99.9% of us you are not a solidatrity programmer , move out of it - or hold and believe

    Thailand a leader in Crypto?

    https://cryptoking.org/ripplenet-int...n-across-asia/

Ripple's XRapid has hit 1.0. This year of testing is done. Banks and corporations expected to tentatively go live next year. At stake is the current SWIFT controlled cross border/remittance market that moves trillions of dollars a year. SWIFT hasn't been complacent though, they've recently promoted that they can change the cost of cross-border settlements from $25 to a few dollars per transaction and from 3-5 days to 1-5 days.

Ripple currently does the same thing in less the four seconds (maybe a few minutes when you factor in the banks internal systems) for fractions of a cent.
David vs Goliath of the cross-border settlement world coming to your screens in 2019.
Regulation is the last hurdle to overcome. Small community owned banks and building societies will be the winners. The big correspondent banks will be the losers.

Can Ripple decentralise fast enough to not become a tool of the USA like SWIFT has re: Iran?
    Stay tuned...
Some people think it don't, but it be.

Hash war in progress on B-cash has led to a steep drop across the board.

Further proof that environment unfriendly and unscalable PoW and decentralised leadership is not the way forward.
The battle lines have been drawn. Interesting to watch, not so profit friendly though.

    Good explanation: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles...cash-goes-war/
