give the posters on this thread a break.

all you do is post: it's going up, it's going down, it's not moving.

Do you cry like a little bish and pretend you're somehow a bastion of maturity and intelligence when you objectively aren't in real life?

When it gets pumped it's a conspiracy by the banks to take money away from BTC so the banks can buy cheap BTC before they adopt and pump the price, or adopt and dump to kill, or adopt and take control, whatever the plan is that the BTC faithful subscribe to.

What is a fact is there is an XRP wallet with 1billion units that's been selling hard these last couple of months. You can see it on the network, the numbers don't lie. No one knows who it belongs to. Again there's plenty of conspiracy theories bouncing around. It won't last forever, it will be empty in a couple of months. It just means low excitement and depressed prices for the foreseeable future. Anyone wanting quick money follow the TA rather than the FA.
I have 10,000 XRP left, after making a large profit since last year. If you were me, would you hold or sell? My plan is to hold for 2 years max, unless it goes over 150. If you held, what price would you sell?

Again there's another thousand coins that do the exact same thing. That is not philosophy, but plain and simple fact. Even more than that some of them aren't vulnerable at all to %51 attack so technically they are more secure. They're also faster, more private, more efficient, better governed, and more scalable.
The Internet isn't perfect, but nor is Bitcoin.

The thing to understand is that neither are rigid points in space. They move and morph according to conditions and free of government controls.

Sure there are thousands of other coins out there, but they all ride on Bitcoin open source technology, which rely on the operating network, which is Bitcoin.

At the end of the day the strong hand is indeed Bitcoin, not some Johnny come lately crapcoin which happens to use the same algorithm.
The Bitcoin algorithm is no secret.

The secret is the globally distributed network.

    ^^^

I'm not a financial advisor, and I don't play one on TV.

I'm planning on small sales on the way up with my first major exit point being at $10. I see the market they're trying to capture and it's difficult to make a good guess as to whether they will get a % or the whole enchilada. There's a definite usecase and no major competitor as far along as Ripple so I'm fairly bullish. I'm gonna follow the news watch the competition and reassess. I got in early so I've got a bit to play with. YMMV.

2 years I think is a good enough time to see the tech go worldwide. How long regulation takes to kick in will be the big hurdle to adoption.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

Can't find anything against which to compare NEO, to make it look less distressed.

XRP may go up short term more due to the rapid bankster adoption. Just bear in mind XRP is just another fiat currency and subject to bankster inflation.

It would be wiser to put that $10k into BTC, sit back and watch to it hit 1 million two years from now.

    Much less stress IMHO.

Just after its founding in 2012, Ripple Labs did a private placement, raising more than $2 million in a seed round of funding in April 2013. Influential investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and a fund managed by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund participated in the seed round.

Subsequent funding rounds brought in even more investors. Later in 2013, Google Ventures and IDG Capital Partners were among those investing undisclosed figures in Ripple Labs. By late 2014, Ripple Labs had announced a $32 million deal for further funding, issuing common stock to existing investors and putting a $100 million valuation on the business.
    3 month chart:

IMO, ripple will never reach its previous high again.

those who invested directly into ripple will get their money back in a traditional IPO, apparently:

    https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/...g-in-2018.aspx

Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse has addressed the question of a Ripple IPO head-on. When asked in September 2017 on CNBC what the pros and cons of a Ripple IPO would be, Garlinghouse said, "I want to make sure we have the right managerial maturity, infrastructure, and ability to forecast properly. ... At some point it will make sense. Just not today."

ant doesn't know a thing about blockchain or cryptos, yet he's taking the piss out of earl.

    it's nonsense.

ant should state what he disagrees with earl, rather than making childish taunts (as per usual).
