No cars as well, KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING, so simple but not many have a clue and hog the outer lanes.

    ^

People world wide get pissed of when some Fuk Wit sits in the fast lane.

I have no problem when some Mad Thai sits up there arse flashing their lights and nearly forcing them from the road.

They deserve it and work well done.

nearly forcing them from the road................

........and across the central divide head on into that minivan full of schoolkids being driven in a perfectly safe manner.

terry, sometimes you spout forth utter bilge.

you are obviously very highly strung.

the secret to a relaxed and happy life, decent blood pressure and low stress, is when confronted with idiocy, to take a back seat, just let the train go by and leave the aggression and madness to others because most of the time there is very little you can do about it without worsening the situation.

Unfortunately Thailand has U turns and many drivers start using the right hand lane 3+km away to use them.

The secret to happy driving world wide is not to be a stupid coont and sit in the fast lane.

It's actually illegal in many places.

    Ged It. ?

    Na. didn't think ya would.

Terry you are spot on, if all the halfwits kept to the laft except when overtaking/turning right within 500 metres, how much better it would be, having to overtake, then undertake is a pain due to these selfish lazy halfwits.

I rather like driving in Thailand because I find most drivers do keep to the left lane and allow the mad coonts to speed on by.

They seem to know the drill.

if all the halfwits kept to the left
the only lane retaining a smooth surface is the outside lane.

due to skimping of materials, lack of maintenance and the poor construction of thai roads (see terrys thread on thailands amazing superhighways for details) the inside lane bears the brunt of the heavy overloaded goods traffic and the surface has often been reduced to an uneven, broken potholed track with lots of debris that gets thrown up, cracking the windscreens of following vehicles.

the outside lane normally presents the best surface and that is why drivers are reluctant to move from it.

That was certainly true a few years ago, now however that is not true where I live or when I drive down to Bangkok , all lanes are good. just selfish halfwits hogging the outside lane.

Every lane is an overtaking lane in Thailand, especially as Pragmatic mentions, the retarded bastards won't build flyovers for u-turning

Not many fortunas around our way but plenty of mad drivers.

I wish That's would learn to drive to the edge line rather than the centreline on single carriageways. It would reduce the number of head-ons that I have witnessed. Also driving too close to the traffic in front so they can't see...then pull out to take a look and ...
It isn't speed that's dangerous...it's relative speed and momentum....neither of which are understood by most of them
