When The Nation began a partnership with them, the BP's response was to ban all links and quotes from being used on the forum.

Yes - been the standard for some time. From the George era to the current corporate group that purchased TVF a while ago.

Highly selective sources only as regarding to news/info OPs [sponsors, underwriters, friendlies]....and on top of that the restriction of members authoring news OPs - only admin/mods can create news threads.
