Did it last year, pretty easy night, start 10pm ends 1am. Gotta play the big ben strikes 12 and auld lang syne otherwise just disco/party/modern hits

Nothing too taxing on the brain. Afterwards load gear into van, get some chips or curry on the way home, in bed by 4am, travelling to Cornwall new years day at midday.
How hard is it to load an ipod shuffle mini into a van?

Last night was at Fort Myers Florida, we toured the Thomas Edison and Henery Ford Mansions at 2350 McGregor Blvd Fort Myers Fla. Complements of our hotel. Free shuttle to and from and then downtown along the Caloosahatchee river for the ball drop and fire works show.

It's fun as I've been meeting people from all around the world. I helped make sure the German group understood the pick up point and had them take a picture of the city Map they should have taken from the hotel lobby before getting in the shuttle. They didn't know to ask, just got on the shuttle with the rest of the tourists. Had them take a cell phone pic of the street signs at the pick up point if they got turned around.

The town closes about a six square block area on the river front for a huge block party. Dozens of live bands, one at ever intersection playing all kinds of music. Lots of food and drink to be had. People from very young to very old just having a great time.

People from all over. I must say I was impressed as I saw nobody being drunk and stupid. Where I live it's fricken cold so the children are never out in the streets partaking in the festivities.

I saw thousands of people having a great time without being all bent out of shape. It was quite refreshing as I was sober myself. Sure people were drinking everywhere just not overdoing it. Yes the people on the shuttle back with us were smashed but they knew they had a ride back to the hotel.

I guess that's why I've seen so many tourists from abroad as they knew about this place more than I had. Plus the weather is awesome.

Chatted it up with a family from Essex London a few hours ago. Nice bunch. Had their kids to Disney land and so on. Met them in Clearwater Florida as that's where we are now.

Happy New Year to you all.

It will not stop, day or night until every drop of booze is drunk, 3 maybe 4 days, so I'll stay pissed, at least I'll be able to sleep through screeching they call music.
What you need is some good advise ahemm music.
Next year you set up your own speakers and and give'em hell with the ole
    "Radetzkymarsch"

    ...you can thank me later

Thought I'd got through the new year with no visitors, wife's friends just left, didn't really mind as three of the friends had leggings on, and had pretty nice bums, as the drinks flowed, and i complimented them on there nice pert bums, they started to bend down and show them more, was funny to see the more the drank the more they liked the compliment.

One of them a school teacher 40 yrs old, which had the nicest ass, must of got wet as she was doing the flirting stroking the inside of her legs, luckily the others never noticed, and the eyes said it all.

    complimenting beauty can have consquences.
