i prefer to think that we are dead because that means i won't have a death to look forwards to
i think we have been dead for 3 billion years so it's a bit of a pisser that it took nearly that long to get fiber optics

My 4 year old daughter insists nothing's real and it's all just a dream.
Just who's dream she hasn't said, I presume she means hers.
“Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was myself. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”
Zhūangzi (c. 369 BC - c. 286 BC).
I had some pretty dark days as a teen, and wished I was dead a few times, tried a couple as well, poorly, with the old paracetamols - never did take enough - or at least I don't think I did, but maybe I;m dead and don't know it.

are we all actually dead already?
I took a shit this morning and let me tell you, I'am defintely alive.
To be able to dream one would need a functioning brain. If one was physically dead, one would not have functioning brain, yes?Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon
If you are dead, does it really matter if you know it or not?
You just get on with life, or death, until you die. Or live.
Woteva.
My arse is dead this morning, after a couple of raging hot curries and what seemed like gallons of Pinot last night....
Oh the humanity!
