Tanquery Gin here for a change!! With tonic. And i've only had two since three hours ago.

Slaps - the mince pies and whiskey and the carrots are for Father Christmas and his reindeer.

Up to you how much whiskey you leave out for Santa. If memory serves me well, my dad thought a good half bottle would be suitable!! He'd be thirsty!! With all that zooming around the world!! And my mum had me peeling carrots for the reindeer. Which would go in the pot eventually. I still remember waking up on Christmas morning and there were crumbs on the plate and an empty glass... That sort of thing should go on, with kids everywhere. They are only little once. Let them have a bit of magic.

Best time of the year IMHO... A vibe of goodwill pervades the land.. and for 10 ish days, most Kiwis are in touch with their 'nice' side...

Of course, that fades quickly...and things return to normal, but still my favorite time..
