What alcoholic drink will you never touch again?

I think everyone has one after getting spannered when they were younger on a specific drink.

Mine is Drambuie, the sickly sweet stuff Looper is currently trying to turn his single malt whisky into, which gave me the idea for this thread.

I drank a whole bottle of it a couple of decades ago at Xmas and was violently sick. Just the thought of it repulses me now.

Vodka red bull on a lads holiday in my 20s the smell of it knocks me now. I must have had 40 of them I was ill for days.

Whisky woke up in hospital or a cell more than once in my roaring 20s

Oh and Lao khoaw once in the village I'de actually ripped my bedroom door off and threw it in the garden.still have no recollection

Try to leave spirits alone, it's for the best

I agree. Always was too strong for my stomach and head.

I know it's a naive question, but just as a matter of interest : does anyone know why different drinks affect people differently ? After all, the alcohol is the same.

this like all the baijau - sorgum whisky - you will taste it for days everytime you burp - and it is the closest to motorcycle fuel with 2 stroke oil added of all the spirits I have tasted

I was warned when I first turned up on the jobsite in the mountains of Guizhou province that I should give this stuff a wide berth , but as you only live once I had to try it.

several fcuking times - every mini banquet with the contractor I was supervising this stuff was decanted like water - gum fckin bei

the head honcho even returned once with a bottle ( baiju -moutai is made in Guizhou province ) from his home province that was apparently infused with peach blossms or some such and had cost 1800 kwai - 300 USD - and it still tasted like rocket fuel

I have watched a woman from outside china who was goaded into taking a shot of this degreaser finish the shot and run to the toilet to vomit

it is an experience
