Build quality- after all those adverts showing their phones in the shower and goldfish bowls they now warn people not to submerge them.

Design - it's a fucking rectangle and the most boring looking phone out of the lot with a slippery glass back.

Function - I Bet it's still on Android Jellybean. That Sony z is renowned for getting red hot too with the waterproof rubbers and glass keeping the heat in.

Actually there was a trick where you could create an id without a credit card, I did it for my iPhone., but it was years ago when I created my ID.

You can create the AppleID - but you can't use it. As soon as you try to download any app it redirects you to a page where you have to enter payment details (even though the app is free). If you cancel out of it - it cancels the App download

Changed now. Before there was an option to select "No payment method" but Apple removed that with iOS 9.1

Yes - you can create an AppleID. But, to actually use it to download any Apps - you now have to enter card details - same as reply above.
