I hear coffee enemas are all the rage within those trendy health circles....
Anyone that uses instant coffee or teabags should be sent to the local lunatic asylum.
Tea should be made in a pot, coffee in a pot or a dripper,if you got loads of money then buy one of those expensive machines.
I am not a tea drinker but love coffee first choice for me Lavazza next Segafredo if i can't buy either of those its Doi Tung.
Drink me coffee black no sugar.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

And look at Davis' son...He has coffee and cigarettes for breakfast...And he's fit as fook...
Anyone try coffee from the Bolavan area in Laos? I heard it's some of the best in the world.
Not being a big coffee drinker I foolishly passed on some on my last trip over.
I plan to visit the Fane waterfall near Paksong Laos in a few months. This is Lao coffee capitol and I have seen websites for purchase of their coffees for about 28usd for a kilo. I hope to find locals with the help of GFs relatives to make a purchase of said beans. Mabey even the cat shat ones, only live once.
I did get a gopro for the trip. Now just need to learn to use it. No more handicam crap shots!
I may do a thread when I return If I can remember how to post the pics. Its been awhile.
Back to coffee, I believe it was the French during the protectorate years that began the coffee farming in Laos but I may be wrong. I will check it out first hand and sample the real deal soon.

No milk but I find coffee requires at least one sugar unless it is from Brazil, where it requires two.
But...tea is still best with cakes and there is no afternoon version of coffee like there is with tea. Coffee, as in espresso, is for morning consumption only in my book.
All coffee for me is for morning consumption, as the day wears on I much prefer a refreshing cuppa tea.Originally Posted by Troy

Yup we bought one of them in the market when we went to Italy
Its been kept safely inside the cupboard ever since ,

I have two of those beauties. One that makes two small cups and the larger one. I also buy the Lavazza coffee to put into it.
Try it Nige, the smell of the coffee brewing is lovely on a cold morning, it takes a bit longer than boiling the kettle. But worth the wait. And gives you a good kick!!
Just make sure you screw it tight, they can explode.
In Germany you can buy electric espresso machines like the beauties. I haven't got one, but my coffee addicted brother in Munich swears by his.
I'm sure they take credit for the sun rising every morning too.Originally Posted by BaitongBoy

In CM, coffee shops abound. Black Canyon is leaps and bounds above the rest, IMNSFHO. I go for the Ice Americano (70 THB), Ice Espresso (70 THB) and, for a treat, the Black Canyon Frappe, no foam (80 THB). And they'll mix your drinks with Equal, if you like them sweetened but count calories. I love to sit at a table and watch the Chinese tourists pose in front of the Tha Phae Gate. I've never seen such mad tourists. Or I'll take a cup or two home from the shop in the Kad Suan Kaew mall.

My new Canadian friend, Tim Hortons is to Canada what MacDonalds is to the rest of the world. Need I say more? My fucking Lord, there are REAL coffee shops in Montreal, you know.
But are you into hockey, if not coffee? Not many people are, on this forum. I just noticed the NHL 2013 thread got 0 replies. Therefore, I will give my predictions now: Kings rule but the Ducks will rule the roost in 2016/2017.
They are little beauties, I had one of those back in oz and it made many a fine cup. So, I get to Chiang Mai and buy an identical one from Rimping and the handle melted off the first time that I used it ...... cheap Chinese copy. Actually, not cheap at all, Rimping charge a fortune for one of them.

How does Starbucks make tea? And what makes it so popular in the U.K.? Is there a high caffeine content, compared to coffee?Originally Posted by klong toey
