So here's two people who know nothing about tea as well as coffee.

If you go back to the 1600's in China, it was the "highest of civility" to have milk in certain types of tea and travelling dignitaries were often treated to this.
Right so you know from living then

Adding milk means you can brew the tea stronger, it's takes the edge off the taste.
An Indian concoction I think, a habit picked up in the Raj.

Milk goes with strong tea as cheese goes with dry wine. It all depends on the amount of tannin.

Forget the facts. Where is your "Coffee Shop Girls at Work" site? No pictures of Vietnamese ladies in the farm, either. Having said that I might be interested in the farm girls.
    Asian farm girls...

    Nothing better!

Been filling the brothels and bars of Asia for 50 years, and making up the vast majority of "wife of fresh off the boat farang"

Poms have nothing to brag about so reading up on tea on Wiki provides them with something to talk about.

I like the sentiments behind this - more and more as I've aged (and matured?) - the less impressed I am with the materialistic culture that seems to be shoved down our throats in ever increasing ways. Sure. I appreciate and enjoy nice things (clothes, design, art, etc)- but there is usually a finite price you pay for anything - and what is paid above that can be termed the "bullshit factor".

Good lad ,, a man after my own heart

Funny thing is because I have worked hard and invested the money wisely over my life I am in the lucky position of being able to afford all the snazzy bits + pieces but in the most I make do with secondhand or whats available , whereas a lot of my mates even older than me are up to their bloody eyeballs in debt , just to keep one notch ahead in that stupid bloody rat wheel

Not claiming this is the right or wrong way as we are all different , this is just the way I have always been .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
