    What about this Telli.

So today I needed to go to Home Pro Plonchit, turns out they are having a sale. I have bought a heap of stuff here over the last two years and scored some great deals. Anyway, today they had this brilliant 65 " Telli going out the door. If I was in the market for a new Telli I would off bought this but I already have a nice 50 "
    check it out.

Rig up CCTV and keep a close eye on your new mop on your nice new television.
Have to say not much of a television lover Gert watches it,i only watch cricket or motorbike racing.

Can you claim any tax back on that.?

why does any one need a curved television

3d failed , curved is next - even this 4k , ultra HD marketing fluff is meh

1080p will keep most people happy for a few more years yet

I just have a 23" connected via HDMI to my laptop for movies and sport - I could easily go larger but this will fit in its box in the suitcase
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

    ^

I'm a big fan of the big TV, it goes on first thing in the morning and last thing off at night. When at home the TV is on.

Watch the BBC, local news, bang on DVD music Videos and what not.

Bigger the better, these days the picture quality is really pumping home.

When my 50" spits it I'll pop on one of these.

Well, if they're Thai, they'll put it right in front of the window, facing out, so everyone can see that they have it.

Then they might feel an inch bigger when they think about that.

Dead right. I've got a 55" in the bedroom and a 70" in my condo lounge room, and would get at least an 80" if I lived in a house!. There is no such thing as a TV that's too big is there?

I need to upgrade the garage T.V. for foot ball games. The tube TV I have out there is so last year.

2500usd is a bit much. I'll wait a year or two untill the price drops. I picked up a Samsung 55" for 700usd a whille back. As plasma faded I might find the same TV now for 500 bucks or less.

    Can't knock a big telly.

But after a decade of 'flat's where its at' and then the rapidly dumped 3dtv this curved shit seems like yet more nonsense.

The 3D shit was just that. If one is going to do 3D go to the fookin theater.

Anyway, comparing the 65" flat screen with the curved Jobby there was a major difference in viewing angles.

The picture quality was fookin brilliant.

I was very impressed, I would of bought one except I need to watch my money a tad.

The last two months ain't been the best.

I have seen some demo models - bloody amazing. Not quite amazing enough for me to blow that much cash on a TV, mind you.

I have a friend who just bought a 55" curved Samsung He replaced a 50 inch with it , but because of the curve it looks no bigger than his old one. Also if you sit to the left side of the TV you can see his light reflecting onto the curve on the right. The picture looks no better than his last TV as well. It is voice activated and has a remote control camera, 2 daft gimmicks you'd never use.

They've ran out of technology on these TVs now and are just using gimmicks to sell them. This 4k curved bollix is to phase out that other load of shat the 3d TVs.

That 4k technology is a load of bollocks too, only an eagle would be able to tell the difference between 1920x1080 vs this new 4 k technology that is suited to 100 inch TVs or cinema screens

^ Yes, confirmed... good deal Terry.

Same TV in NZ is $5,500 from Dick Smith (about 125,000 bht)...

so 85,000 bht for that cracker of a TV (4 k resolution) is a brilliant deal.
(probably cheaper in Japan though) and that's where we'll be soonish...

You won't use half the shite on it, ie you tube , Skype and most of the other "smart" features that are quicker to do on a pc.

Also, show me where you can buy a 4k blu ray movie to play on it or a TV station that actually broadcasts 4k channels??

Good luck downloading 4k torrents when they come out also, they will have 4 times the data thus be 4 times the size of a full HD movie.
