If only I had a big pile to send.

If I did then I'd probably take a cautious approach and split my pile into several small piles to be sent monthly, spread the risk.

My feeling is that 33B to the USD seems about fair if you look at a 10-year chart. Maybe this is where things will settle. In the meanwhile, if Covid spins into serious social unrest with widespread factory closures and all chance of a Christmas tourist season vanished then what would stop it going to 36?

...a number of Bloomberg economists predict B34-35 by year's end if nothing improves...

I think I will just watch as it creeps upward and when the rate begins to tapper off or hold steady for a week I will make my move.

I have constantly missed out over the years with buying houses and such at times when the dollar was at 30.

Currently nearly 46.40 with Wise at the moment.

Indeed. Also encouraging, is that the Pound is edging up against the Euro. Yesterday's announcement of the likelihood of interest rate rises in the UK won't do Sterling's value any harm. 50 by year end?

I live next to the Donegal border we get 15% extra on the £1 so £20 is 23 Euro plus the petrol is cheaper happy days, at one time is was 25% the Petrol station was the busiest in Ireland
