I liked him in Syriana.

I really liked O Brother Where Art Thou

Never had an issue with his acting. I've got 15 of his films in my files.

The amount of money a movie makes has little to do with the quality of the movie or the acting. Imo the opposite is the case.

B movie actor really better known for his looks than anything else, lot like him.

I liked him in Men who stare at goats.

In fact I thought his part was hilarious.

He's in loads of good movies. 'the American' was good.

Others who cannot really act are Michael Caine, Rodger Moore and the awful Sean Connery.

Clooney has received eight Academy Award nominations, winning two, Best Supporting Actor in 2005 for Syriana and as co-producer of 2012 Best Picture winner, Argo. Clooney and Walt Disney are the only people to have ever been nominated in six different categories.

He's had a fair career so far I'd say.

A fine actor by any measure.

Has limited range as an actor, can do goofball or roles where he can be a smug asshole.

But he's not an actor I rush out to see his movies like i would for say Deniro, Hoffman or Day-Lewis.

I think he is the new Carey Grant type of actor, good at straight roles and comedy.

I believe you're referring to The Peacemaker [with Kidman] - a predictable political/terrorism vehicle.



Three Kings wasn't too bad as another feel-good political piece.

I enjoy his films. He is a CIA spook though.

De Niro has been in a lot of awful films recently, tbh. From "Taxi Driver" "Raging Bull" and "Godfather" et el, to rom coms and Jason Statham films.?

You're right and it reminded of those awful movies he made in the role of a father in law with Ben Stiller.
