    The good die young?

While were building our house we lived in a shack next door to an older couple with their son...I called her 'newspaper lady' ie the local gossip .....but entertaining.
Couple of years back her husband died of a heart attack at about 50yo...bugger had invoked local laws often enough to gain a few thousand baht from yours truly.
Never mind water under the bridge.
Today my dear wife gets a call ..the 30++ lad,non smoker, drinker working in his father's stead as school janitor supporting his mum.
The lad is dead..heart attack or heat exhaustion...?? Go figure?

Wife was at a Wat for some Buddha festival a few weeks back and ran into the mother. Wife says she was paper white..asked if she was okay the woman said she thinks she would die soon as she forgot to give offerings to a ghost house for her husband.Gotta love religion!

A former shipmate went on terminal leave in March after 26 years active duty with a scheduled retirement date of 01 May. Just a few days before his actual retirement he died from either drowning or a heart attack while participating in a biathlon in Hawaii. He was only 44.
