Our morning pre-school/work walks - or - My suburb keeps German Industry Kicking

Though I know we live in a nice area, I never really noticed the cars that others have - unless they stand out like dog balls. . . like a gold Ferrari . . . dogballs aren't always pretty, nice nor complimentary. Rarely, actually . . . if ever.

    I digress.

So, on our pre-school/work walks with the dog(s) I thought I'd take some pics of some of the Teutonic (mostly) carriages on wheels the neighbours have. (And before anyone thinks I'm trying to big myself - No, our cars are not in the same league)

Many of the bigger ones are not shown as their owners have already left for work . . .

    Down the street :

This one likes to combine sports with family. He's actually a stock broker . . . so he says . . . so, if one likes gold Ferrari, he's your guy

    Stuttgart is represented

    . . . and on we go.

    I must admit that I'd choose the 428 . . . a sweet ride indeed.

Aaaah, one day when I is all growed up . . .

Nice cars, except the gold ferrari.

Two of my neighbours own Bentleys.

One got one first (55m baht)

Obviously the other guy had to match it.

Will snap a few pics if I think of it. Big, ugly, plain looking things to be honest.

Just looking at the pics and the main difference with our village is that each of the houses have big walls and solid gates, even though it's behind 3 sets of security already.

Depends. We're hoping to get out of paying CGT when we leave

Management here is very strict - no gates, no walls, no fences (except separating the front and back yard - type of fence has to be approved).
An open concept has to be adhered to - odd in an ASEAN country aside from Singapore, but it keeps the place nice.

I actually like the gold Ferrari. I probably wouldn't buy one myself but if anyone has one they are tired of .......

BTW, is that a red 'spirit house' in the fifth photo?

Actually, quite undesirable - the style, architecture.

^That was my guess. Kind of sub-standard housing. No walls; no steel gates, no gun turrets; no firing ports. Strange.

Just noticed there are also no bamboo cages on the lawns. Where do they keep their fighting cocks? Strange.
