When I lived in Malaysia (near where ocker is located now) I had a TR4 A and my mates had similar cars E type, MG TC etc and we got the totty, even in a predominantly Muslim country, so as well as I expensive car it takes is class.

So, our gold-Ferarri-coloured owner has added to his stable by procuring one of these . . . just as tasteless, said without any envy whatsoever.

    He is actually also the MD/CEO of a bio-tech start-up . . . government funded, of course

Nice area Hat. The UK is also doing its bit for German engineering. Couldn't help noticing on the main roads here in UK, every second or third car seems to be a late model Audi.
If you judged a country on the quality and age of its cars ........

. . . and Abdul the Automotive Afficionado has added to his little stable of cars with something really worth wishing for . . .

Still, where does the guy get his colour palette from . . .

    As above, indeed . . .

Too much money, but now he has reached the four car limit . . . by-laws state that only a maximum of four cars per household may be kept on the premises.

    Ferrari, Bentley, Audi . . . quite possibly so . . .

Hardly ever see the Ferrari out of the drive - I'd be a bit embarrassed with that obscene show of opulence and bad taste as well . . . the Bentley and Audi, however - or the green thing - different story

Silly think is that we have speed bumps about every intersection - I'd hate to see all the scrapes these things have had

Forgot about this thread and saw it this morning.

So just went out for a stroll after lunch.

You can't get in without going through 3 security gate, but still the Thais want big gates and walls.

Anyway, a little bit less of that PH's lot, 2 Bentley's are cream of the bunch, but there are only 12 houses in our place.

Porches and high-end Mercs and Beemers are more prevailant, with the odd yellow lambo showing up from time to time.

Most of the houses are empty during the week and they live in penthouses downtown, and come back at weekends/holidays etc.

Usually has one of those new BMW i8 things next to the merc and some Porsche behind it.

One of the Bentley owner's Porsches, but the Bentley was out being used.

This is the other Bentley hiding behind the gate. Think I've only ever seen this one out about twice.

PH's village and their cars are nicer.

We have several gates within the sole entrance/exit as well. True to life Gurkhas and nights are patrolled with Rottweilers - 24 men per shift. A bit drastic, but people here like to feel safe, even if it is overkill.
Double fences, motion-detector and NATO barbed wire with cctv every 20 metres or so - overkill.

I must admit that it is nicer to have no front fencing or gates, but at the moment we have that nasty-arse Indonesian haze here, can't even go for a walk . . . . Indons, seriously the least likable SEAsians (in terms of government and arrogance)

I'm guessing you live outside of BKK?

So, which one is yours, Luigi . . .? I already fessed up that none of the cars I showed were mine . . . well, except for the Audi, Ferrari and Bentley of course

Haze or smoke from burning rice fields after the harvest? I'd guess it would be that time of year there...

I hate to admit, my fav is the white Benz....
