Thread: Very strange indeed, hows that work ?

So I was just doing a search on Ban Chang on Utube and a clip of koh Tao was there. It was only 2 minutes long so I clicked on it.

It opened up into a series of still piks with the Teakdoor banner at the top.

The Piks were of Koh Tao I had posted on here many years ago.

Hows that work then ?

I must say they were rather good ones.

Just went back to have a look and it's not there, should not of been there in the first place as I was searching Ban Chang.

Fooked if I know, maybe the " P " floating around huh.

Nope that's Ban Chang but that is the exact same format as the Tao Pics, same guy lifting the Photos from this forum.

No probs though , no law against it.

Must be one of those people who dwell in rural, mountainous areas in the United States, primarily in Appalachia, but also parts of the Ozarks.

I would certainly encourage TD to contact the Thai digital rights authorities to complain about this flagrant abuse of copyright.

Sorry....I was a bit sleepy. Here it is. my guess is that it was created by someone on Koh Tao to promote the place as a tourist destination.....it was uploaded to Youtube almost 6 years ago. The place has really taken off since then. You should sue em for royalties, mate !

Bet they never used your gay pics.

It's advertising Teak Door so perhaps DD did it himself or he agreed to it. Part of his SEO 'package', perhaps.

Either they are very low quality or I need some new reading glasses

Yep - as there isn't laws or copyright privileges regarding such material.

An example I will site would be long-standing image thread of mine here - over the years, I've found that it is referenced and lifted everywhere throughout the interwebs of the most astounding variety of language-based [English, Thai, French, German, Chinese, etc] sites....

Even more amazing is the high ranking stability that this seemingly innocent thread has on searches/seo/search engines.

I found DD's build pictures on Google last week along with the entire Teak door format and thread listings...DD was after all an businessman. Nothing posted here or elsewhere on the Internet is protected.

Just goes to show that its not the best idea to put ones kids faces on the web.

So easy for some nutter to lift them and attach them to porn sights or so on.

Suppose its not the best idea to put any current pictures of ones self or wife up either.
