If you notice, Thais tend to congregate in tight knit communities when abroad who rarely venture outside this comfort zone. The lack of proactive adaptive behavior and ambition means you need to constantly be the anchor for them outside of their comfort zone. This is true if you take them out o the country into a separate Asian culture. Thais born abroad are different however but they are not considered native Thai for all intents and purposes."

If anything, Thai women are more adaptive to foreign domains, cultures than any race of people I've ever encountered. Pooying Thai are literally all over the globe doing extremely well.
But very few have farang female friends, at all.
If it were not for female relatives of the spouse many wouldn't have any social intercourse with any female farang.

There is very little congress between them at all in my experience and most tend to hook into their own kind.
Perhaps they tend to hook into their own kind more due to such common tastes as in food, Thai holidays e.g. Sonkran, Loy Kratong etc.

What this poster has learned from a lot of years married to a Thai is they regard Farang women - especially Americans as naive.

    I tend to agree.
    Yep....

My wife got along fine with American women, just didn't understand them too well. She also thought them naive.
I'm not saying it was Aliens, but it was Aliens!

So now you want to root a cocker spaniel...

It's the goodies and accompaniments that make or break a tea...

Well....yes, with reservations. I don't see it quite as starkly. It seems to me that slight vapid-headedness comes together with femininity. In fact I think it goes hand in hand with high estrogen levels.

I had a very bright Chinese girlfriend....in fact two....and they were just too bright for the good of our relationship.
My wife (Thai) is such a lovely person, and her very slight vapidity and lack of mindfulness seem to go together with her femininity. I have also noticed this in other women.
For someone with such a wonderful wife, you spend an inordinate amount of time waffling on about women on girly threads.

Thankyou for demonstrating male vapidity so well.

Unfortunately yours is not so slight, nor benign.

I agree, it was a most innocuously critical post.

How do you come up with a slight or benign "vapidity" scale?

    Don't you actually mean, "vapidness"?

It's a sliding scale or spectrum. All relative to a "certain poster's" oft-demonstrated malignant vapidity. And don't you love the way it's so similar to "stupidity"

    Oxford dictionary :

    vapidity
    Pronunciation: /vəˈpɪdəti/
    noun

Another of your make believe meanings. The word has nothing to do with stupidity.

And vapidity or vapidness is neither a sliding scale nor a spectrum, except to an Aspie, maybe.

A bit like you valving your car's electric windows, as you claim.
