    Just another day on Thai roads.

    The registration of the BMW is

    กรุงเทพ...(Bangkok) in case anyone is unlucky enough to encounter it.

    Was it another case of pedestrians throwing themselves on to a car to maybe get insurance or what ever, there are plenty doing just that in Russia China etc. Hope the car driver had a camera fitted just to prove his case.

    Buddhist I think not.

    POS with a limp 1 incher me thinks.

    I wouldn't mind crossing paths with him - give him a couple kicks in the teeth.

    (However if the street dude was playing the fake injury game, then he does need a hiding)

    The man on the ground was, according to the voices on the video, drunk, as was the driver.

    I dont think they play the fake injury game here.

    Drunk as skunks, brawling in plain view on the highway in the middle of the city whilst in charge of a vehicle and no copper on the scene.

    Surprise, that, eh?

    Actually they do play that game here;
    This guy and his pictures are all over thai social media for his "foot injury" scam;

    People who have been conned by the man shared their stories online and warned other motorists to be wary when approached in this way.
    However with that being said, it does not appear the guy on the ground in the video is the now infamous 'foot injury scammer'...

    Mozzbie47 can't understand a lick of thai, can you?

    What a tough guy, kicking a drunk sitting on the ground.. The BMW is obviously compensation for a small brain and penis.

    The gurl in the car was cautioning the guy in the car to stop yelling at the driver of the BMW because he might have a gun (not beyond the realm of possibility).

    It's being widely discussed over talk radio and the thai language only forums..

    Funny enough a google of the license plate number showed that it was one of those "special plates" they auction off;

    The Chinese are masters at the fake injury game. Slight nudge and some of the old aunties and uncles drop to the ground and play dead.

    Then extort money from the 'attacker'/'violent criminal'. A few years back a Good Samaritan helped up an old lady who collapsed. She then blamed him for all her injuries, and demanded compensation. The judge agreed, saying "if he hadn't hurt her, he wouldn't have helped her".

    Not that the Chinese have a great track record of helping others when they're down (literally), but since then the Chinese generally stay well away from someone who's injured/dying/collapsed.

    One old granny struck gold (well, her family did) when she was knocked over and down a few stairs at the Great Wall by a 300 pounder Canuck heffalump a few days ago. She died on the scene (took rescue services an hour to get to her).

    Her family are expecting a heavy payout.

    Canadian tourist in hurry, accidently knocks over and kills old Chinese woman on Great Wall: Shanghaiist

    Anyway, fuck the Beemer driver.

    Well,

    It's one of the major reasons normal people do not involve them selves in conflict if avoidable, especially someone Else's conflict.

    Anyone with half a brain know's that Somchai could in all possibility be packin a gun and unfortunately he ain't scared to blow someone away.

    Whether its a Thai or a farang is simply irrelevant .

    Match that up against a Micky Mouse police force why would ya get involved.

    Sometimes, Terry, involvement finds you. It comes out of the blue, and before you know it, you are involved in a situation that has a momentum all of its own and you are powerless to stop it.

    That's what I said wonnit, if it's not your problem just better to let the problem run its course.

    Unfortunately a farangs life ain't worth shit here.

    Way it is.

    Why the anger? I've lived in China for 10 years.

    I'm 37 - is that old?

    My apartment is pretty sweet - sea and mountain views. Welcome to stay over anytime.
