This is actually a pretty good idea. If every curve had these concrete poles, it might teach drivers some semblance of lane control.

Fair call . . . and possibly correct

There'd be quite a few demonstration-fatalities at first, of course

A resort near us put up an awning on their perimeter wall recently and they had a creative way to incorporate the Lila Wadee trees that grow there. I wonder though how long this solution is going to work!

That awning was built to prevent flower thieves?

Yeah, they certainly had a saw and axe there. I have heard that those Lila Wadee trees have some kind of animist bad luck/good luck "spirit" so maybe the builders were afraid of getting possessed. Sure would have been easy to cut that branch to avoid the future problems.

Don't think it would be a big loss if those microphones did not work at all.

A suspension bridge spanning across the Nan river in Muang district of Phichit province collapsed last night during a heavy rain storm.

I'd seen this a while ago and thought that it would be appropriate to post it here. At first this shopfront looks fairly typical.

But then the one on the right looked a bit 'different'

The one next to it seems to have a bit of a problem as well, but not as much as the one on the right.

Driving into the garage is do-able but I think it would be a bit more difficult getting out.
