Thai Woman Shocked by Chinese Tourist Stripping Naked in Bangkok Airport Toilet

A Thai woman was shocked when she entered the toilet at Bangkok Airport and saw a Chinese tourist half naked.

According to AsiaOne forums via Omy.sg, the tourist was apparently changing at the sink and was not even wearing a bra.

In Thai custom, it is considered rude for one to strip in front of another person.

The stunned local uploaded the photograph, which then caused a stir among netizens.

Many netizens, however, have criticised her for invading the privacy of the tourist.

I volunteer to help check her belongings before leaving. Looks to be a bit flat-chested, but no worries, she can use my toilet to tidy up any time if she's banned from using public facilities. I guess the Thai woman was not so shocked that she couldn't resist taking the photo and posting it on the internet.

Thailand to Release Instructional Video After Chinese Woman Strips in Bangkok Airport

Thailand officials are to create and release a two-minute animated video in Chinese in a bid to discourage tourists from stripping bare in inappropriate places, like the airport, for example, when on holiday.

This comes after a Chinese women was caught on camera standing bare in front of a sink in the bathrooms of Don Mueang international airport in Bangkok in Thailand.

Thailand is already preparing a tourism manual specifically for its Chinese visitors, which will point out various etiquette and social ethics to which they should adhere.

Well, really the Chinese tourist wasn't stripping in front of another person, rather the other person was brazen enough to walk in on the woman, therefore making them guilty of assaulting a woman's decency.

So if I am right, the crime was not wearing a bra.

Didn't Siamese/Khmer ladies of yore walk around topless? Where did all this false modesty come from?

Rama V started it, and Plasek Pibulsongkram put the final nail in it 1941.

Yes, it seems as if the old standard textbook myths towards customary dos and don'ts remains steadily amongst journalist's circle, less extending to everyday stereotypes.

Just trying to freshen up prior to next flight. What the hell would she do in the men's comfort room with people shaving without shirts?

Shocked enough to take a quick clandestine pic and send it viral.

It's not about the supposed offence, but the social media promotion behind it.

If Thai women don't want semi-naked Chinese women in the female toilets, let the semi-naked Chinese women use the Gents' toilets instead. I doubt any men will complain.

I think we are all missing the important question here. Where on the net is the un-pixelated version of the photo in the OP?
