Thread: A toast.

A toast to DD who, along with others, created a lively and diverse forum.

I have enjoyed the forum, mostly. And despite sharp differences in opinion robustly expressed from time to time, I can honestly say there is nobody I actively dislike on here.

Never been one for sweetness or goodbyes, but after years of being a member here I just feel a bloody urge to say cheerio.

I might be along from time to time to poke a stick at someone when I'm bored though.

Flying out tonight and I can't see Thailand being on my menu again.

Also I want to say 'kudos' to those that carried on with TD after DD's death. Despite a barrage of criticism you have managed to keep the forum alive and as diverse as ever. A general fear was that it would sink into a homogenous sweetness. It didn't.
