The Waltons along with 'The Little House on the Prairie' remind me of Sunday dinner.

I typed that out, Little House on the Prairie then my daft phone went and clicked another page, the other program that reminds me of that age was Bonanza.

I thought they were before 84 though, at that age I was doing a paper round and putting copies of Razzle in peoples newspapers until I'd finished my sorting and got out the shop. had a pocketful of cola cubes too

i never tugged one off to Sam Fox or the brunette (i've forgot her name) after that

Heh...one of my all-time favorites as well but I believe we're outnumbered on TD with that sentiment.

Have you seen that Meathead is still pushing his brain-damaged agenda there in Hollywood?

I preferred Black Jack. Turned your tongue black. No doubt banned now or go under another name!

Why, what did you have for Sunday dinner? Roasted prairie dog washed down with Virginian moonshine?

I believe he's always been active politically.

Nonetheless, Rob has directed/produced some of the most iconic films that we all know and love.

^^ Would think he is more well known for directing movies such This is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, and Misery.

I would have been watching Sanford and Son instead of Archie Bunker.

Of course, as Sanford & Son was more politically correct, eh?

Sounds delicious, properly basted with a rosemary/garlic marinade.

Nah, mashed potatoes, gravy, garden peas, pork chop, carrots and cabbage. Hated all with the exception of the MPs but loved it when my dad cooked!

Only time I liked stew and dumplings was when he cooked.

If I ate all my veg my dad would send me to the corner shop for a 10 pence mix!

Used to love cabbage and many other veggies until I went into hospital with pneumonia when I was about 5-6 yo. When I came out of convalescence mum gave me heaps of cabbage and carrots as usual but I just couldn't eat them. Mum got angry and told me to eat them or I couldn't leave the dinner table. The longer it took me to eat them the colder they got and the more they tasted horrible. Took me mum awhile to learn I wasn't pulling any stunts.
My tastes in food just completely changed after a stay in hospital.
    Weird.

Oh yeah, the Waltons I remember.

Wasn't there a woman a few years back that had octuplets? (8 kids not 8 octopi)
