Japanese horrified by beheading. well i have to say its very unsavory/disgusting/barbaric/etc. but wasn't it the norm for the fucking japs. late 30s to mid 40s. poss now for all i know. fuck, the japs take some fucking beating.

That was 3/4 of a century ago.

Also face down beheading with a sword was considered an honourable way to die for a warrior.

Holding the victim face up to a camera and then sawing his head of slowly with a machete so viewers can witness the horror of life gradually draining from the victims face with each hack of the knife and then posting video footage on the interweb deliberately to horrify the victim's friends and family is a little bit further down the depravity scale I would say.

In my opinion the almost 100-year-long reign of terror the Japanese Imperial military forces committed against neighboring countries, including woman and children, and prisoners of war, was of a much grander scale than the is. Ironically, there is never any news of Japanese torture, vivisection, beatings, starvation, rape, death marches, truly sadistic human guinea pig experiments, etc., etc. ad nauseam. Why is that?
