KSR = Krusties Smiling and Rolling?

Just back to Bangers, and staying on Soi Rambutri. Jesus - are there a lot of Krusties (ie 50-70 years old) rolling around.

I feel like I'm in an old age home.

Won't even attempt KSR, except to buy some eye drops from Boots.

    Then I'm rolling.

What's this town come to? Three months ago it was peaceful, quiet and cheap.

Everything's jacked and the Krusties and YK's - Young Krusties (with shitty tats) are everywhere.

Fook this - I'm off to Siem Reap, for a Valium upload and hopefully less Krusties.

Is there a decent area in Bangers, where a man can have a decent night out, without being surrounded by tourists?

If not, I'm finding a cave in Sri Lanka, and holing up there till the bomb drops.

PS. there are loads of hot young farang chickalickens - wouldn't mind a piece. Maybe I'm jut getting over my China fatigue (gasp, cough, spit black tar).

What do you expect hanging around backpacker central ?

A young Adonis like yourself should get yourself down to RCA.

There's a couple of nice clubs down Thong Lor too, mainly full of Thai hi so's. You may be in for a culture shock though watching the brats revving up and wheelspinning their ferraris when the clubs close as you sit outside burger king.

Bored as fook of rich kids - I've just come from China, 20 year olds in Bugattis, gets boring.

Used to enjoy RCA - bottle of SS and some soda, with a bunch of young Thai lads and lasses.

Guess I'm passed it all. Wheelchair time. That said I just did buy a ticket to SR - which can be loads of fun.

Well to get where they are the older ones have either avoided or survived most of the things that might kill you before you get to their age, so a little tolerance is required.

It depends a lot on the individual , but growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional. Maybe not in Bangkok but there are lots of "old" 35 year-olds in the world.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

The only way one will avoid expats, tourists or Backpackers is to get ones arse upcountry.

Jesus, when I'm touring around I can go for days without seeing a white face.

Actually, Yesterday I was out at Ladprao to view the NASA exhibition. Hardly a whitey out around there either.

Don't have to venture far even in Bangkok to be away from farang.

I will be 50 in less than 4 short years.

I object to these baby-faced little school-leaver spankers sitting at the bar in Bangla with their flat-peaked baseball caps and acne.

There should be a minimum 10 year apprenticeship in Farangland before a fella is allowed to ship out to LOS for some RnR.

    Just barely nice.

    Couldn't convince some otherwise.

    To each his own.
