I would also like to thank Pseudolus for giving me valuable advice and correctly diagnosing the virus before the vet could.
    Pseudolus, excellent diagnosis skills!

I recently went too close to an old 'dog' and now my dick is covered with sores and oozing green pus.

Would you mind popping over and taking a closer look? I am concerned that I may need to be put down...

    Necron is absolutely correct.

Pfizer Animal Health has a 'HTLP 5/CV-L' serum which is a combination canine distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 Para influenza-Parvovirus and Leptospirosis vaccine administered without needle.

The Rabies vaccine is a separate vaccination by injection.

I believe both vaccination shots combined should cost B 300.

Most important is to put the annual vaccinations reminder where you will be reminded as vet practices don't usually send reminder cards.

Also keep a close eye when picking up your animals feces. Be on the look out for (a) small white 'rice' which would be worms and (b) bloody or slimy phlegm 'egg white' mixed in stools.
Both will require samples for lab analysis and confirmation as to underlying cause.

If a dog is going to be kenneled with other dogs then a 'canine cough' vaccine may be warranted.

Most importantly Loy Toy & others - enjoy a blessed, happy holiday in the knowledge that you have saved a life...with a little help from your TD friends , which is what the best of a forum is really all about. (JIMHO)

I am very pleased to report that our canine family member has recovered fully and is finally back to her old self.

The vet had originally told us that the pup would not survive and we should stop the treatment but we decided to take a risk and all turned out well.

Another reminder to all dog lovers to make sure you vaccinate your pets and against the many nasties here in Thailand.
