    Contingency plan.

Have you ever thought of the consequences that may occur if you 'pop your clogs' in Thailand!

First of all.All those fookin' BIB running around your house...

The thought sends shivers down my spine!

I don't have anything in Thailand, just a cheap house and shitty old cheap car that are the wife's and nobody else would worry about...

The problem of buying nice stuff in Thailand is, as you suggest, the local scumbags will try to get it for themselves if the opportunity arises (or even if it doesn't).

Just don't have any conspicuous nice stuff, Charlie; keep the pies out of sight...
How do I post these pictures???

What about your bank book/books, credit cards etc.
I remember when Immigration stopped us from having joint accounts.

Imagine one of those getting into the wrong pockets!

I'm going to hide my shit, and only the wife will know the whereabouts.

For some of us it's necessary! Do you use a foreign credit card?

I transfer money to my wife's local account from Aus. and then she puts some in a token account in my name. She has access to all of it so no worries.
Saves the ATM charge, which adds up. Also, with HiFX transfers over $10,000 are free, which is another saving.

Not if you're using the account for extension of your visa.

Last Will and Testament - everything to wife - then to daughter. Lawyer will enforce same.

Indeed, go against everything they might deem fit - especially as it is directed towards foreigners.
