Thread: Carls Jnr Burgers (Nana) - What a load of bollocks.

I just tried a cheeseburger from there.

At 160bt I was expecting some hi-so burger business (KFC fillet burger 65bt - Big Mac 85bt)

What I got was a stale bun with a 1mm tasteless patty, 2 slices of pickle and a cup of mayonnaise (which made it inedible) so I binned it.

Carls Jnrs? - Bollocks.

Avoid.

I didn't order it with mayo - I ordered a cheeseburger. I was fully prepared for the fact that there would indeed be mayonaisse in there however. I like mayonaisse, it's good shit. Problem was there was more mayonaisse in the burger than anything else. And oh yeah - a chunk of onion 1' thick to add insult to injury that I forgot to mention.

Why do punters spend millions on a franchise and let untrained staff ruin what's obviously a good name.

Tip: Teach your staff exactly how to prepare and portion control. FFS how fvcking difficult can that be with 4 basic ingredients?

^Sounds like you're spot on. Poor execution. I have had Carl's Jr burgers and had no complaints although I find them grossly overpriced. A lot of chains coming out of the west coast USA have much better burgers for the money.

160 baht for a cheeseburger in bangers is a bargain

^160 baht. That's just for the cheeseburger. Drink and fries extra. The Whopper Jr set is around 169 baht. Just comparing it to that.

Been to Carl Jnr in Kuala Lumpur and the one on Silom. There's no comparison. Same menu, great burgers in KL nothing special in Silom.
