^ I agree. I voted 'NO'. Anyone vote 'YES'? I've never spoke to anyone who'll admit they did.

Exactly ,,,, farmers around here are never gonna go back to employing people on the minimum wage £6.55p per hour and having to pay holidays etc to English workers ,, when they can use Romainiun / Hungariun / Lithuainiun people who are prepared to live in squalor 8 in a caravan with no running water etc parked illegally on the farm working for £2 per hour on a self employed basis , which fall outside of any EU employment legislation .

Not as simple as a yes no poll. Leaving the EU is a complex issue which could take years to achieve.
Even if the UK and the EU were to go their separate ways, new agreements would have to be made with individual member states for trade, access, finance, agriculture and a whole other load of stuff we currently benefit from by being part of the EU.
Both the UK and EU members would still want to conduct trade and have legal agreements and other reciprocal measures, but these would all have to be renegotiated individually if UK was outside the EU.
My belief is that UK membership should be as a trading partner as we were under the EEC. Withdraw from most other agreements, and negotiate a few cherry picked issues we would wish to remain a part of.
Tory government does not want this because of implications for UK as a financial centre. As they are the only realistic chance of getting a referendum in the next parliament, everyone should vote Tory and hold them to that referendum promise.

I say stay but negotiate clauses whereby, for example, if we give benefits to citizens of other countries they exactly match the benefits given to our citizens abroad.

See how the Poles like it when our Chavs live there on UK-sized benefits and scrounge child benefits for kids who live back in the UK.

Are you referring to this poor gentleman?

Romanian scrap worker pledges to bring his wife and five children to join him in UK 'because it's my right to £25,000 benefits and a four bedroom house'

    • Nicu Popescu wants to move his family to Britain to claim £25k in benefits
    • Romanian scrapyard worker says it is his 'right' to claim state handouts
    • He wants up to £25,000 in benefits and a four bedroom house
    • The plan has been condemned as an 'abuse' of soft benefits system
    • Comes as EU court says migrants do not have unqualified right to benefits

A Romanian scrap yard worker has provoked fury by claiming it is his 'right' to move his family to Britain so he can claim up to £25,000 of benefits.
Father-of-five Nicu Popescu, 30, moved to Birmingham from Bucharest two years ago and says he now plans to bring over his wife and children in order to top up his low income and take advantage of its easy handouts.
His plans have been widely condemned by MPs as an 'abuse' of Britain's weak benefits system and an example of why immigration routes should be tightened.

Hope you paid Goebbels for his avatar as you know copyright infringement by poor is heavily enforced, if your a Poo Yai excuse me sir, can you spare a few democratic ideals.

As others have noted UK Ireland and Denmark who acceded in 1/1/1973 saw benefits of wider trade bloc, the move to a US of Europe is unwanted by many and referenda in France Holland and Ireland have been rerun when compete with the Fourth Reich agenda.

Despite the current surge for UKIP I feel the stateless international rich will rig it whichever way it benefits them and their banskster criminal lackeys.

We seldom go to EU to work and definately not for benefit.
Close the doors, leave the union and cancel all foreign aid.
And kick out anyone without a UK passport.
    Thailand wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Hey , our great leader , David Cameron scared the shit out of Putin ( Russian leader ) in Brisbane Australia.
If Cameron can scare the Russians with his robust talk, the E.U must be shitting themselves.
The Roma gypsies and Afghanistan-is ain't, they got a visit from Tory candidates in Rochester Kent, asking for their vote and support in beating the Greens, in the elections on the 20 th.

Always love those 'single' apostrophes rather than actual "Quotation marks" which imply it's what was actually said when it is not.

Amazing how many people are suckered in by shit like this.

After a 'YES' vote in a referendum the UK exit would have to be within 2 years.
