A most interesting point about this whole buffalo issue, (seems to me, and as I've said I'm usually wrong), its the westerners, and by westerners I mean Ex-pats, that have the "issue", far more so than the Thai's.

    My in-laws don't give a hoot (FYI my wife and I are 5 years difference), but, based on our marriage my in-laws may be biased. So I provide this;

My in-laws friends, don't give a hoot, other than the multiple times I've been asked bluntly if I knew of any eligible falang men looking for a Thai wife, and, yes, I've had nice, polite, educated, smart and charming young Thai girls presented to me with their many good qualities/attributes verbal provided, along with their willingness and desire to find a suitable falang husband.

So, the so called "buffalo", that we so easily denigrate, is a highly sought after prize by many Thai girls (and I'm not talking about the denizens of Soi Cowboy, Patpong or Nana).

They are similar are because they are both suggesting that the person who either said it or wore the T-shirt had a relationship with a persons current gf/wife before he did .

The only thing fluke sees is what he want to see, or shit he makes up.
Absolutely no point in using logic or truth. He sees both as deniable by his own tunnel vision.

Why the fook has everyone turned on Tod? He made a humourus satirical post and one or maybe two took offence. Fook 'em the over sensitive, charmless twats.

He has not said anything that is not true for some. Those who protest too much are, probably the ones who are, or were that buffalo.

I think you are equally if not more illogical than Fluke in some respects. (Panama Hat is 100 times worse than you still, but is such a waste of space not even worth discussing)

You have a very bad habit of latching on to people on this forum and making them far more important in your thoughts than they should be, which is highly illogical IMO. You've done it on countless occasions with many different people (me included, it's why we fell out)

You know what your opinion of Fluke is, you know what you think of him, there is nothing whatsoever unresolved in your mind when it comes to Fluke, so what could you possibly gain by spending so much time telling him what you think of him over and over again? Highly illogical and a waste of your precious time on planet Earth IMO.

    Discuss. (civilly)

It has nothing to do with what he said but his attitude towards it. As I said before many posters will remember Tod's attitudes from previous posts and won't just be judging him on this one alone.

He makes it quite clear he thinks that he's better than these people. Do You think he's better than those people? Is he better than you? I ticked three boxes, does that automatically make him better than me?

His delusions of grandeur even go as far to suggest that he knows that these people aren't happy with their lives, (not like what he is with his) and that they're too stupid to even realise that they're not happy and they need his help to work it out.

If it truly was a light hearted look at certain people it would be fine, still not particularly funny but nobody would have given him a hard time. People who know him better can see it for the oneupmanship and delusions of grandeur that it was.

Pompous, obnoxious fool IMO and I don't think I'm alone.

Your problem is that you dont realise that other people have a different onion to you .
You think if someone doesnt agree with your viewpoint, then they must be wrong , argumentative and a liar , because they have a different opinion to you .

Do you think 5 years difference in age is a big deal? It's more than common.
How would they feel if the difference was 20 years?

You just described yourself perfectly nut job. I don't mind you having a different opinion. What I do object to is your selective choice of argument, usually based on shit you have made up, and generally ignoring the salient facts. You are absolutely the master of that.

Nope, I'm still here, possibly much to the chagrin of the people who tried to tear me to pieces.

I was tryin' to get a handle on what the thread has devolved into the last couple of pages, but I gave up..

Don't hold back or sugar coat it "Fozzy", tell me what you really think about me! Thankfully, I quit caring years ago what people thought of me, my views and my life because I don't rate my own self worth on the opinions of others.

I dunno if foreigners w/thai wives are happy or not, but from my perspective most sure don't seem to be "whistling dixie" or "dancin' in the rain" when they're parading around, sitting around, etc. That's just from my perspective, so your mileage may vary.

I have no delusions of grandeur in regards to my life being better than anyone else. Mostly because, last time I checked (which I do every once in a while), I'm in this life for ME, not for anyone else! It's totally 100% about me, all the time.

That could possibly be why it's hard for me to find an appropriate thai partner. I don't give two shites about their extended family, nada, zero, zilch. I'm sure they weren't begging on the Sukhumvit for change before I came into the picture so I see no reason why they shouldn't just keep doin' what ever it is they're doin' to stay alive. I don't have any obligation to 'help out the family'. Christ I don't ever help out my own family so why would I help my thai partner's family? They ain't even my kin..

I think rather than pick apart the "buffalo points", which interestingly enough, were mostly ignored, except for the sin-sod for "second-handers" (which BTW the premise of that point wasn't disputed, the terminology I used was blasted!), it was far easier for posters to go after me personally.

Believe me I'm way more thick skinned than you give me credit for. I knew this thread would garner comments. It was just too broad brushed NOT to. I also knew that people who possibly 'scored high" would be more vocal in their comments. Kind of a "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" moment!

Just so we're clear; I ain't here to impress none 'o you people and as it stands, I certainly ain't impressed by any of you either!

    Carry on my wayward son..
