    Robert Crumb

I have to admit this LSD stricken madman had significant influence in my young formative years.

I still admire his surreal realism.

    Great imagery

I watched some good documentaries about him ages ago and enjoyed them
    altogether nutty family ...

I think it was this one
The Confessions Of Robert Crumb (1987)

    and this one
    Crumb (1994)

That's because, contrary to Mr Earls 'LSD stricken madman' claims, having watched the documentary, he was just a dickhead.

The definitive documentary of Robert Crumb is simply called 'Crumb', and is rated as one of the best biographical documentaries ever. One weird dude indeed, but unlike Koojo I wouldn't call him a dickhead.

Actually he looked pretty normal compared to his two brothers, who were both certifiable.

One of them topped himself, shortly after the documentary was made.

I never bought a Zap Comic. I didn't like his drawing style. Overworked and fussy.

Not to mention the mother. I found it equally interesting & depressing. LINK: Crumb (1994) - IMDb
