As I need to leave Thailand, PHR is now seeking homes for the horses , although is not having much luck. Seems most Thai people think it is alright to own ex racing Thoroughbreds with absolutely no land for them to to be horses on. They are also unaware this breed cannot live on tropical grasses without supplemental feed.
If no appropriate homes can be found, the other choice is to put them down in a humane and painless manner. While it seems harsh, it is kinder than simply walking away and letting them take their chances, and probably ending up in situations I found them in-or worse.
I will not have Lamburg or the others, rotting in a stall, sick for year after year waiting to die as the common belief system here does not allow for euthanasia.
However, a third, far happier alternative is to fly them to USA with me !! It will take about $50,000. USD a lot of money I know but if it can be raised, it is a viable option. Once in USA, and through the 7 day mandatory quarantine, they can go to a huge retirement foundation property.

The owner of the land I lease will pay me to cancel the contract if I can find a buyer. And it will cover the costs of the airlift, so please share the page if anyone you know is looking for land to develop or build an estate on. I thought she was leaving Phuket.

I did read her website. give her some dues, she did care for those horses. The obituaries for the nags were very touching. But, when i tried to sympathise with her she came at me with every gun blazing.

Vindictive and a sad sorry soul. Who has a forum personality that she gave herself from the start. Perhaps she's not like that at all. but has to live with it now.
