In Android, it runs as a stand alone app, not as an extension/add-on like on a computer.

Does the instructions say something like restart your phone after installing?

I've got adblock plus, works great. no ads anywhere.

9 blocked now.

I didn't realise that people were still reading foras and newspapers with the ads showing. Must be a bit off putting.
