Why Keep someones death a secret

There was a guy that had a home in the village down the road from us, whom i hadn't of seen for sometime around 2 yrs ago so contacted him, and he never returned email so thought fair enough.

There were rumours him and wife had of split.

His wife so it seems returned a few times over the period, though nothing said.

She came back a couple of months ago, and decided to tell everyone he died 3 yrs ago, my wife rang me and told me he had of passed away, through a heart attack, so i decided to look on the internet, to see when it happened and how, though i can't find anything as i not have the dates.

Does anyone know of a Norman Clarke that lived around Haywards Heath sussex.?

Just seems unbelievable that wife would keep it a secret.

Nothing unusual here, a death does strange things to the living.

    Another random stranger death....

Only now, originating from a member's personal reference, less an "official news" story.

    How stimulating.

Yup- he was probably in 'storage' (TV moderator style) in the basement.

If he wasn't a Buddhist there would be no ceremony at the local Wat, no free meal, hence a non event.
