DD,Why don't you get hime to post here in a seperate blog thingie and then go halves in the revenue?
He has his own server so I assume that like us he does hosting aswell, so there is no reason for him to take down his site, probably uses less than 2 percent of his server resources with the mangosauce domain.
Stickman mark 2 has this to say.
Aint back online and cant find any evidence from google to say it had been back online, did he do a hard refresh or did it just load from his cache?Quote:
Another popular Bangkok website has called it quits. David, the main writer and owner behind Mango Sauce, has decided to move on to bigger and better things. This continues a trend with Bangkok based websites either changing hands or simply stopping for good. An announcement on the site stated that David had been unable to make adequate income from the site and that it was no longer a viable venture. He had indicated that the site would remain online permanently but within 24 hours of posting the message the site had become inaccessible. Checking earlier today it was back online again. Weird.
The site works for me..
There's a funny bit about a rare Laotian rat
I was wandering though that site a few years ago and remember some funny bits about backpackers and Kao San rd.Quote:
Identified for the very first time when served up to a hungry American naturalist on a skewer in 2005, a living specimen of the Laotian rock rat has now been photographed. Despite appearances, the creature - known locally as a kha-nyou - isn't a rat at all. Robert Timmins described his tasty new discovery as a "spineless porcupine."
At that stage, however, he'd never seen a live specimen so branding the enigmatic creature a coward might have been premature. For all we know, when ambushed by Laotian rice farmers brandishing sliced bell peppers and pineapple chunks, the bushy-tailed beast might have shown conspicuous bravery.
