Thanks for that Albert ( I think )
Never done Glastonbury did Reading twice though my gf at the time had huge knorks and skinny legs I remember them well ( not the legs )
I disembowelled myself on the back up hold on the scaffold bar trench ,,,, I dunno if the guy I was backed up against tripped out on it , but apparently it was the one and only time Hendrix played Little Wing in C#
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
A couple of times. But only the tiny little diddy corners - not a great big hallucination thing.
I laughed and danced and did sort of hallucinate a bit, we had fun. I was "looked after" by friends, which is nice.
I'd do it again. Just to have that feeling that you are in control of your mind and body and you can actually sing Desperado from beginning to end.... Oh to be an Eagle...

One of the strangest tripping experiences I ever had was when I was about 16 with my GF at the time. We'd both necked some acid infused sugar cubes at a party, hilarity ensued, but when we got back to my Mums house the real madness started.
Was lying in my bed and had what I can only describe as an out of body experience - It was as if I'd been split into two versions of myself, and both seemed equally real at the time, both existing in reality, two seperate but equally real realities.
When my eyes closed I was me, but elsewhere, and when I opened them I was in my room tripping with my GF.
Really hard to describe but I'll try;
One half of me was the person lying there in the bed with my GF in the dead of night in the dark, the other half of me was up and about walking about in my local area in bright sunshine.
I was talking to people I knew that I'd met while walking about, having full on conversations, all in my head. It was so vivid, down to the tiniest detail, the feel of the sun on my skin etc, that at the time it seemed perfectly logical that I was actually in two different times and places at once. I could switch between the two mes just by opening and closing my eyes.
For days afterwards I was convinced it had been real, while at the same time knowing it hadn't been. Almost like a hyper-real lucid dream I suppose, while awake and fully concious of it!
Fuck, it's too hard to describe but it was a truly mind-altering experience, which still holds a strong emotional resonance to me when I think back to it. Spine tingling stuff.
I kept wandering off, and, luckily, one of my friends would catch up with me and bring me back and sit me down. Supposedly that went on for a few hours. I was window shopping and looking at all the details in the clothes etc.
And a 15 minute walk home took two hours. There was no way a taxi would have taken us.
Sore heads all around the next day. Because the lights are so bright.
I would hate to have a bad trip. You need to have people that you trust around you.

Love the hallucinogems me.
For those who have yet to try, i've just read this article about enhanced colour vision.
The article has nothing to do with drugs, but will give non-users an insight into the kind of mad colour trips that takers often experience.

Forgot to mention my latest trip.
Was having some minor surgery and the doctor used ketamine. They must have overdosed me. Suddenly I was inside a kaleidoscope, the music playing was incredible, and I felt I was in heaven. Was probably the best feeling I have had in my life.
Asked the doc for some to take home. He refused me.

The best trip i ever had was on acid. As was the worst- that's when i gave it up.
Mushrooms- had a load of fun with them in Samui in the 80's. The mushies I tried in oz & the UK just never seemed to measure up. Mescaline- had to try it, Ok but kind of a heavy body feeling compared to the other psychadelics.
I've known people totally freak out on acid, others handle it fine. Treat with extreme respect- 'tis a powerful drug. Never try it to improve on a bad mood, only to make a good time better. It would be downright dumb & rash to take your first trip in an unfamiliar environment (but i bet plenty have).
To cartoon land.

I recall one day I dropped twenty-five hits of "The Right Stuff" just before we took off on a bomb run…
It came on just as I was beginning my approach to Hanoi… there was a flash of brilliant pure whight light, and suddenly a whole squadron of MIG-21’s appeared, all totally transparent and piloted by gorgeous Vietnamese women, totally nude, and all firing candy colored tracers, and there was flak in all the colors of the rainbow, as well as a few I’d never seen before…
So, how did it end ?
I don’t know! I never came down!

Los Angeles, April 8, 1984- Former Pittsburgh Pirates' pitcher Dock Ellis says he was under the influence of LSD when he pitched a 1970 no-hitter against the San Diego Padres.
Ellis, now co-ordinator of an anti drug program in Los Angeles, said he didn't know until six hours before his June 12, 1970 no hitter that he was going to pitch.
"I was in Los Angeles, and the team was playing in San Diego , but I didn't know it. I had taken LSD..... I thought it was an off-day, that's how come I had it in me. I took the LSD at noon. At 1pm, his girlfriend and trip partner looked at the paper and said, "Dock, you're pitching today!"
"That's when it was $9.50 to fly to San Diego. She got me to the airport at 3:30. I got there at 4:30, and the game started at 6:05pm. It was a twi-night doubleheader.
I can only remember bits and pieces of the game. I was psyched. I had a feeling of euphoria.
I was zeroed in on the (catcher's) glove, but I didn't hit the glove too much. I remember hitting a couple of batters and the bases were loaded two or three times.
The ball was small sometimes, the ball was large sometimes, sometimes I saw the catcher, sometimes I didn't. Sometimes I tried to stare the hitter down and throw while I was looking at him. I chewed my gum until it turned to powder. They say I had about three to four fielding chances. I remember diving out of the way of a ball I thought was a line drive. I jumped, but the ball wasn't hit hard and never reached me."
The Pirates won the game, 2-0, although Ellis walked eight batters. It was the highpoint in the baseball career of one of the finer pitchers of his time, and arguably, one of the greatest achievements in the history of sports.
LSD and the No-Hitter
So, more than 4/5 Teakdoorians have experienced the psychedelic effects of hallucinogenic drugs?
Where'd all the love go, man?
Made the scene
Week to week
Day to day
Hour to hour
The gate is straight
Deep and wide
Break on through to the other side.
Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
And someone spoke and I went into a dream.......
Mescalin pills, SUNY at Stony Brook, mid to late eighties . . . combined with a Whippet Party. Fun, fun, fun
I'd forgotten the mushrooms. We had dried ones and kinda sorta made some sort of tea out of them. Horrible taste, but a sort of glowing, floating effect.
And listening to rather "old" music. Cream comes to mind.
Oh, joyful times. When the internet didn't exist.... We also had mega nights playing trivial pursuits and scrabble. I always won, obviously. Not without some knowitall coming out with the dictionairies and encyclopedias to try and prove me wrong!!!
