Ok so as reported a taxi drriver nicked my gf's laptop that I borrowed off her while I done a visa run so Im looking for another one for her. It dont matter about age of it as she only uses one to do fb with her friends & contact with her family .So if anybody has a cheap or even free one for me I can meet in BK or in 2 wks Patts . Thankyou

A couple of threads this cheap charlie is bombarding with complaints against members in this fashion. To what purpose? Wants to be given a free laptop, or certainly cheaper than the second hand value. Has he no friends he can talk to about this that he has to bombard a forum with his begging bowl and getting all aggressive.

So money where your mouth is, cluck, I have an office in Pattaya and in the store room right now I have 2 lap tops that are not being used.

1 - Toshiba L Series. 1.7 ghtz, 4 mg ram. Genuine windows 8.1 plus and windows office suite on there. 6 months old with bag and all the usual stuff.

2 - Compaq b series. 2.33 ghtz, 4 mg ram, Genuine windows 8.1 plus and windows office suite on there. 1 year old with all the kit.

What will you offer me for one of these and then I will tell you the value of them here in "pats"

Sadly, I do not have a spare laptop, only the one I use. But I shall go out this afternoon and buy a brand new spanking laptop, just so I can have a spare one that I also will not give him.

In a country such as Thailand, where it is widely known that taxi drivers are not always as honest as one may like, and are subjected to little in the way of licensing and criminality checks before being let loose on the public, only the stupidest of passengers would load their luggage into a taxi, and not notedown the number of the cab on the metal plate staring you in the face, and then after paying, exit the cab without taking hold of the bag. Always a big mistake to put the high value bag on the front seat or in the boot.

However you seem to again ignore the fact that the taxi driver was arrested by police & I was at the police station for 4 hours whille they wrote my statement & searched the taxi for the computer. So no's & a name was noted by me but dontlet that spoil your jack-n-nory.
