    May I take your order?

So, just imagine your good friend Dirk (that's me by the way) has purchased an eatery in your town (in Thailand) and is looking to add some dishes to the menu.

Bakery facilities are in-house with a skilled baker and there is also a cook.

You may take a sandwich slip and tick all the desired fillings and condiments and bread type, but today you feel like something else.

There is no tourists here but a large expat community.

There is a simple mix of Thai and Western food.

So, you already got your ice cold beer from the bar, what would you like to eat?

May I recommend our new addition, macaroni & cheese with bacon and onion?

    Or something else perhaps?
    Lang may yer lum reek...

4 Thai dishes I can never seem to find when I want.
    Massaman Curry
    Penang Curry with King prawns
That slow stewed pork dish with star anise and boiled egg.
Something they make down south which is like a cross between coleslaw and fried rice.

    Western food
    Decent burgers on fresh buns.
    Meatpies
    Chiko Rolls
    Roast of the day.

Wouldn't you know, we offer 3 different burgers. Each is 125g and accompanied with salad and crinkly fries. Buns are freshly baked daily.

Deluxe burger - Premium quality lean beef, lightly spiced.

Spicy burger - Premium quality lean beef, more heavily spiced with mustard, pepper and some local chili powder.

Ultimate burger - Premium quality lean beef, quite spicy but with the addition of cumin and garlic.

Ah, the trusty hot dog. You may choose your sausage, we have Cumberland, Irish Sausage, Boerwors or Italian Farmer's Sausage. Onion rings are an excellent choice and recommended.

Would a strawberry ice-cream shake suffice?

Chicken Wings. I have no idea why this is not prevalent in Thailand. Supping beer and sucking the bones clean of meat of some well cooked BBQ or similar chicken wings.

North of your Donger by an hour on wheels. In fact, door to door, there's only 3 turns.

    Settle for traditional pork pies?

Jelly is made in the traditional way using pork bones and a pig's trotter boiled in spices. No gelatin or additives. Pastry from full fat butter, lard and eggs.

    170g, 450g, 1.7kg or 2kg?
