Thread: Two Kinds of posters on TD

What has helped when some type 2 posters clog threads with rubbish, is to put them on ignore. This feature used to be available - not sure now - haven't needed to use it for some time.

The effect of Type 2 dominance can be seen on some other Thai forums which have become kids' playgrounds - consisting of short phrases, snipes, attacks & general silliness. If the Type 2 posters were to be put on ignore, there would be no-one to talk to.

There are two types of people.
1. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Quite A few multi nic konts as well, what the fuks all that about eh? They should either post something of significance or fuk right off. Seems like plenty of fuckers just want to post to stir the shit. Not much of interest to read that shite. Still, they are easy enough ignored, plenty of Good Banter going on in the cooking/ construction / travel Fred's. I would like to think I'm the category 1 kind of poster, feel free to disagree and Red my ass, But that would make ya,ll Category 2 fuckers, bring it on , I'm a big boy,

and those who like to participate actively to threads, no matter what their opinions or background, they want to share their opinions and react to news

Say what they think about anything they want and are sniped on or crapped on or not and they accept that because it is fun for them and others. Example: Thai politics? Can't vote then any opinion is worthless.

These two groups are not as you would think solely separated by length of time served nor is it about number of posts or other nonsensical measures of self importance. It is a difference of character, personality or even powers of observation. I could add experience but that makes the difference time based which is could well be but that is irrelevant.

Yes there is a subset of "You're gay" or "Dr. X takes it up the bum" some enjoy that banter most simple ignore. A lot of this banter is a sign of camaraderie.

The type 1 guys used to be refereed to as the bottom half guys and the maybe the more recent type 2 guys could now be referred to as the top half guys.

Don't like the type 1 guys stay out of the doghouse or other topics which are known for such posters. Ignoring is simple to do it just requires self control not a button on the keyboard.

I'm probably going to ignore any comments on this as it is simply my opinion and...

Sure there was some sniping when DD was around, but it seemed like just a few characters which was tenable. Now some threads are dominated by those having a pissing contest. Maybe it is just that TD has gotten more popular and there are more people on it, so statistically we see a broader spectrum of humanity.

You're right about there being two types. There's me and a bunch of twats.

Rather limiting and narrow to suggest only to types. Teakdoor is reasonably taken with wide variety. At least three dozens contradicting character traits can be identified. I might consider the source that insist only two species here - twisted metaphors or not.
