Smile Advice please D Munag to Soi 13 sat 17oo ish?

I have to go from D Muang Airport to Sukhumvit Trendy Bdg Soi 13 around 5pm on a Saturday,

I know the city well ,and speak enough to discuss options as traffic unfolds with cabby)used to drive in BKK and while on tollway I can get to the Nana exit in under 30 minutes last time I sat for an hour in the traffic there on the ramp with luggage walking is not an option.

Question for all Would it be qiuicker get a cab to Mochit or even Phaya Thai then hop on BTS to Nana/Asoke?or Airport rail to new Makkasan then cab down Asoke, last time I used the express check in NO cabs allowed to new sta had to hike 200m to main rd!

I did think of cab to Lat Phrao then MRT to Asoke but with demos it has been closed on saturdays?Helicopter like jailbreaks ideal but sadly my 2600 digs lacks a James Bond Helipad, tho a wierd old pussy stroker often sits in theLobby.

Cost is irrelevant just want to avoid sitting in traffic for hours after an all night travel. If I can get to Sportsman/Brauhaus Cheap Charlies by 6pm the bell may ring!

Sorry if I've asked this last year my synapses have been slightly eroded by slight over consumption at a 40 year party.

If hoota is lurking come and meet me and we can start the party in the cab!
I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

Yup, but don't go down asoke, come out the back of the station, and get a cab down soi 3 , turn left onto sukhumvit and soi 13 is 200m down on left. Trendy is 50m up on right.

Saying that, no heavier traffic than usual, and if you arrive outside the rush hours, cabbing straight from don muang should be quickest.

If the taxi queue is too long at don muang - walk 100m past the cab stand and get a cab outside on the Viphavadi road

Perhaps get on MRT at Ladphrao, get off at Petchaburi, and a motor bike from there. It's a piece of piss getting from 21 to 13 from there. Taxi as well. Walking from Petchaburi would only take about 10 minutes if you are swift of foot.

    Hmmm - 43kg - a fairly average weight for a local lady.....

Anyway I haven't got a scooby what the rest of your writing was on about. However, with a 43kg suitcase, taxi from the airport to Trendy Soi 13. That is the only advice you need. Job Done. Happy days.

Edit - I was coming back to post up an innocuous picture of a body in a suitcase. Thought there would be a couple of amusing ones. However, for all that is holy, Never Ever search for pictures of Body in Suitcase.

5pm Friday? Quicker to get a cab all the way from the airport. He'll drop down onto Sukhumvit at Soi 1 there is only one traffic light between there and Soi 13.

At 5pm people are driving out of the city not coming in. What will happen if you are 20 mins late?

All this talk of changing systems at the peak of rush hour with a suitcase and all those stairs etc.?
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

Taxi from airport via tollroad all the way. Exit Suk. Straight then left at Soi13. 35 to 40 mins about 400 baht.
Refrain from using the 3 finger greeting gesture.
